The adult centers provide planned activities which promote the well-being of a person. Healthy meals and snacks are also provided at these centers.

Residential Programs

Respite care providers may also offer residential programs. For instance, emergency and/or planned overnight services can be provided. This option allows the caregiver to receive 24 hour respite. This can be very beneficial to both the caregiver and the loved one. After all, a healthy and happy caregiver is in a better position to provide good care to a loved one. Therefore, a residential program is another option worth considering.
